We work tonight on the backbone in Paris for the establishment of two new routers on globalswitch and th2: gsw-g16a9 and th2-g1-a9. These two routers will become the main nodes of Paris through which traffic between the directions of Roubaix/P19/Madrid/Frankfurt/Lyon/Bordeaux/Strasbourg will be routed.
These new equipments will allow us to upgrade the links Paris <> Roubaix with additional 8x10G initially which will bring the capacity Paris <> Roubaix to 280G in total.
The routers will be included step by step on the backbone. Traffic to Paris, Lyon and Madrid will be impacted during the migration of different links. We start the work from 23:30.
