We are checking the firewall cards' configuration.
We started the operation.
We began by moving the IPs.
The configuration was successful. MGCP and SIP phones are being registred.
The call routing is very long. the firewall card is unable to collect the traffic.
We will backtrack.
# sh cpu usage
CPU utilization for 5 seconds = 97.8%; 1 minute: 97.8%; 5 minutes: 97.7%
The backtracking is OK. The configuration is identical to that before the operation.
We are checking the MGCP phones.
Last telephones MGCP are properly reconnecting.
Network team has found an error in the setting which could explain this saturation.
We are retrying to produce a firewall card.
The firewall card held on. however, we found out a cirpack bug which prevents from accepting more than 32 SIP connections at the lever of the proxy on 1 singel couple ip/port.
Analyses are in progress at the level of the manufacturer to understand and identify the bug.
Rewind. We stop for tonight.
The rewind causes some difficulties.
We are endeavouring to restablish the service as quick as possible.
The service is operational again.
We are checking that the last phones re-record themselves correctly.
The operation is planned for Wednesday, August 8th from 0:30.
We will install a new configuration in the firewall cards.
We are trying to have the easiest and the most stable configuration as possible.
We are verifying the setting.
Operation started, we began switching the IPs.
The firewall card is working properly.
SIP phones are operational. MGCP phones need a little longer to return.
All tests have been successful thereafter switching.
We will continue monitoring the equipments.
The clusters' setting have been standardized.
The service is running properly.
