We will gradually migrate the Frontend and Backend of shared Infrastructure on Nexus 6004 couples in VPC.
The aim is to improve the aggregation of server bays on the shared core and allow the infrastructure evolution.
The Nexus 6004 allow to connect up to 48 FEX in dualhomed while Nexus and Nexus 6001 5k limit us to 12 and 24 FEXS
We are acting according to 1/10/100 rule, we are starting with the migration of a single FEX tonight (fex101.p19-63 / 64-n5 to p19-90 / 91-n6).
For each migration, we will pre-provision a new fex on n6004 then migrate servers one by one.
