Preventive maintenances on the UPS pool of Roubaix 2.
These maintenances concern 2 essential subjects:
1- Verify and fix there where it is necessary to mount the batteries of the different UPS. In fact, following the different problems which we have encountered recently (http://travaux.ovh.net/?do=details&id=4871 among other things), the experts has pointed the batteries montage. The set of the pool of this brand will be verified and fixed there where it is necessary.
2- Improvement of draughtproofing of cable entries. The cables bring in and bring out in big quantities the UPS yet are not sufficiently draught proofed, which limits the quality of air filtration in the UPS entries. The modification which will be made is going to be be a considerable amount of time saving in maintenance and in crash risk to come.
We will start with UPS 7 (room 26).
The UPS will be by-passed during the modification of cable entries.
For the batteries, the verification will be made on the spot (isolation branch batteries by branch batteries).

The modifications and test were done. It happened as expected.
The whole parc is operational.

All the maintenances were done.
We are going to finish with an individual battery test of which
inverter. We are going to simulate a tesion absence in entry and
discharge the batteries during 1 minute to validate
the good functionning of the whole installation.
These last tests will be done between 11h30 and 13h
this thursday 12/30/2010 on the whole parc of this
mark (UPS 3 a 8 RBX2, UPS 1 2 et 4 RBX3).
