We continue deployments of 100G equipment to connect our different peering / transit and inter-pop links.
This week it's happening in London, EU!
We are removing all the old routers SUP2T which have gotten to the end of their existence. After three weeks we must reboot pob-5-6k every week because it no longer has enough memory with all configured BGP sessions.
Each 6k will be replaced by nexus7706 1 * (2 * 48 + 2 * 10G * 12 * 100G) and 1 ASR9904 * (2 * RSP880 + 2 * 8 * 100G) with a total capacity of 3.2Tera
The migration will begin from Tuesday to Wednesday at 1:00 am (GMT + 2).

The inter-pop links are all up. We will reactivate the traffic and check that there's no CRC.

We're starting the second phase of the migration. Tonight we're migrating ldn-5-6k!
We will start by isolating the router.

ldn-1-a9 and ldn-1-n7 are now operational and support around 132G of traffic.
All peerings and transitories are now up.
The intervention took around 3 hours.
We will continue during wednesday night with ldn-5-6k, which will be replaced by ldn-5-a9 + ldn-5-n7.

We will begin migrating towards ldn-1-a9 + ldn-1-n7.

The traffic will route via ldn-5-6k during the migration.
